Don’t leave your windows open at night, children

The kudzu will come in and take over the house.
An article from CBC discusses kudzu, the near-ubiquitous Southern botanical booger, and a plan for rehabilitation of its reputation. Biofuel, foodstuff, or medicine, it would be wonderful to find a use for the rapidly-growing vine.

    Hey Kyle. Believe it or not, I have a copy of the Crockett County Times from 1950 with a feature article about the introduction of kudzu to the county. It was hailed as a great way to fight erosion and beautify the countryside…….

    I still get The Crockett Times every week. How else am I going to know who has the earliest open cotton boll this year?
